Food safety

The tomatoes are harvested and put in containers which are then put on pallets. The use of path registration and allocating unique barcodes to all pallets that are produced means that the tomatoes can be followed from harvest to the shelf.

The packaging and distribution centre is BRC-A, IFS higher level, QS and RIK certified and so complies with the highest requirements set in the field of food safety and quality standards.

The production process is fully automated and most of it can be followed with cameras and the extensive automation makes optimum tracking and tracing possible. This, combined with the automated order, processing and distribution system, produces a completely reliable end product.
